Course Information
Courses Held
All Dentistry By Design courses are held
at our state-of-the-art training facility in San Diego, California. The facility is nestled in the same building as Dr. Masek's dental practice, "Dental Expression".
Course Hours
The facility opens at 8:30 each morning. Each course begins promptly at 9am and concludes at 5pm daily.
2 Day Courses
Are held on Thursday and Friday
3 Day Courses
Are held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
5 Day Courses
Are held Monday through Friday
Attendance
The Training Courses are available to Doctors and Team Members who have paid tuition. While we are honored to have visitors at our training facility, only those individuals who have paid tuition may attend a course or partake in any portion of the course and/or meals.
Attire
There is no dress code, please wear comfortable clothing. You may consider wearing layered clothing as the training room can be considered warm or cold based on an individuals' preference. Please consider bringing sunglasses as we serve lunch on our beautiful outside patio, weather permitting.
Certificates
Our courses are approved by Patterson/Sirona. We are happy to accept Paterson CEREC Intermediate/Advanced training vouchers.
Meals/Social Gatherings
Meals and Snacks
You will be provided with a continental breakfast each morning at 8:30am. As the day progresses you will be served a mid-morning snack. Lunch is served mid-day, and we finish with a mid-afternoon snack. The meals are catered. We provide a variety
of foods and beverages for you to choose from.
Social Hour
Doctors and Team Members are invited to a “Welcome” social hour during our 2 and 3 day courses. The gathering is held in the dining area from 5pm to 6pm at the conclusion of the first day of the training. Hors D’oeuvres and cocktails are served at the social hour.
Those attendees taking the shuttle to the host hotel will be returned to the hotel at 6pm.
Celebration Dinner
During our 5 day courses attendees are invited to a “dinner celebration” on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm. The dinner is held at a local San Diego restaurant. Attendees staying at our host hotel will be provided with shuttle service to and from the restaurant.
Accommodations
Host Hotel Accommodations
Most of our attendees choose to stay at our “host hotel”. The Doubletree Hotel Mission Valley, located in the heart of the fashionable Mission Valley area is for attendees who prefer an urban chic environment. The Doubletree Hotel is 10 – 15 minutes away from our facility and local airport, Lindbergh Field. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, movie theaters and much more!- Our beautiful city of San Diego is known as a worldwide tourist destination. Rooms are limited, please call the hotel
reservation line early.

Doubletree Mission Valley
Attendees staying at “our host hotel” -the Doubletree Mission Valley at Hazard Center will be provided with shuttle service to and from our facility during the Course.
Other Hotel Accommodation
You will be able to find other Hotel Accommodations based on your specific amenity needs and rates at the San Diego Visitor’s and Convention Bureau’s website at www.sandiego.org.
Travel Transportation
Airport
Those attendees coming from out of town will fly into Lindbergh Field, our San Diego area airport. Taxi’s and rent-a-car facilities are available at the airport. Many of our local hotels have shuttle services available for a nominal fee. Please consult with your hotel concierge.
Departure Times
We recommend making your return flights home after 7:30pm on the last day of the course. This will allow adequate time for taxi or shuttle service to transport you to Lindbergh Field Airport. It also allows time for the airports’ recommended 2 hour security screening procedures.

Our office is centrally located in San Diego, California. We are conveniently located at the corner of Bisby Lake and Navajo Road.

Shuttle Service
Attendees staying at “our host hotel” -the Doubletree Mission Valley at Hazard Center will be provided with shuttle service to and from our facility during the Course.
Transportation
Attendees not staying at the host hotel will need to provide their own transportation to and from our facility.

There is ample parking available at our facility.

Payment
For your convenience we accept American Express, Diner’s Club, Discover, Master Card, Visa, Checks, and Cash. Returned checks will incur a $50 fee. Tuition is due in full, 30 days prior to the start of the course date.
Vouchers
We are honored to be authorized by Patterson Dental Supply/Sirona as a certified advanced training facility. We accept Intermediate/Advanced Training Vouchers.
Courtesies
Current members of the Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry (ACCD) and/or Dentistry By Design Alumni will receive a $100 courtesy off the tuition.
Attendance
Team members attending without their Doctors will be charged the full Doctor tuition.
Policies
Non-Refundable Deposit
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required, per student at registration to reserve a seat in the course. The non-refundable deposit may be used towards another course at Dentistry By Design, should a scheduling conflict arise. The deposit must be used within 2 years of the original deposit date or will be forfeited.
Course Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing no less than 30 days prior to the scheduled course
date via fax to (619) 828-1719. Course refunds are only issued to attendees canceling within the 30 day requirement, less the non-refundable deposit. Attendees who cancel or reschedule a course within 2 weeks of the scheduled course date will forfeit 50% of the paid tuition, excluding the nonrefundable deposit. This policy is strictly adhered to.
Course Dates And Availability
Dentistry By Design reserves the right to change course dates without notice. We also reserve the right to cancel any course up to 21 days before the
scheduled start date and will refund all payments in such cases.
Refunds
There are no post-course refunds given.
